My Son's First Bird

Postby elkmtngear » 03 25, 2013 •  [Post 1]

My Son was able to take his first bird on the Junior Opening Weekend here in Nor Cal.

He missed a jake on the Morning setup, but everything happens for a reason. We switched to spot and stalk, and he was able to take this big heavy Tom around 10 AM.

9 inch beard, and a single one inch spur on the right leg. It was a great Day!

Good luck to all the kids out there this Season. :)
