2014 spring was a great season for us and we got most of it on film. Nor-cal has some great spring scenery and spring turkey hunting. All hunts using no blind except for the jr. Up close action!

enjoyed the vid, thanks! bow hunting w/o a blind sure is ballsy..... how many birds did you spook?

Zpd307, i didnt spook any but as a group (3) we spooked 3 with bad sitting positiins and 1 with movement. It deff makes it tougher but way more fun and challenging!

If you dojust study turkey shot placement threads. Its more crucial then most think.

I am bow hunting them this year as well. As far as shot placement, it seems everyone has a different opinion. What is yours? Vitals? Head? Neck where it attaches to the body?
