Ohio Turkey Hunting

Postby RedBud » 02 15, 2015 •  [Post 1]

I'm an Ohio Turkey hunter but haven't had much success lately. I hunt in central Ohio in Wayne National Forest. In the past, I was able to bag a spring turkey about every other year. I have gone several years without getting one. I believe there are fewer turkeys. Maybe the coyotes are the problem. Any ideas?

Hmmm, you live in Dayton. I have lots of friends there. Do you happen to have any spots for deer there? I'd gladly make you a trade for some turkey hunting in both Pa and eastern Ohio. I had a couple spots around Bellefontaine but lost them when my buddy got a divorce. Man there were some awesome bucks over there!
