Butt Relief......

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 04 01, 2019 •  [Post 1]

What do cats carry for "butt relief" on your long jaunts into the elk woods? I'm talking something to cushion your posterior when you are sitting and glassing for a long period, or, perhaps are sitting a post watching a certain choke point for elk? Do you carry something in your pack for this purpose, or, just find a soft piece of land to sit on?

Millennium M100 for 13+ hours per day. I stand up and move around to keep from having dead butt and to get he kinks out, but 90% of my time is sitting.

I use one of those brown foam pads about a foot square. I love it and would not be without it. Comfy, warm, and dry.

Sea to Summit Air Seat. Very durable, have had mine for three years, used on rocks, sticks etc. Still holds air, packs down to nothing, inflates and deflates quickly. Great little seat. Also waterproof.

I have a small prototyped chair from browning
I use it in the blind and as a camp chair

I also have a coyote seat similar to a turkey seat lightweight and keeps the backside warm and dry

Ditto. I have two holes punched through it and the bedroll straps on the bottom of my day pack run through those. It swings off the bottom of my pack and anytime I sit down it’s right in place.
