Warmest boots

Postby Lefty » 11 02, 2019 •  [Post 1]

My daughters boyfriend wants to buy my daughter warm boots
I have some -50 Sorel ( that dates them) and 2000 gm Lacross for the cold
She generally wears men’s sizes so a mans boot is fine
We’re willing to spend money on warmth an quality

All For late season hunting and ice fishing

I used to wear Sorel boots. They were great and I never had cold feet as long as I was moving around some. That is the style of boot I would get for serious cold times. If it is too cold for them, why would you go out? Just stay home and tend the wood stove.

Cabela's Inferno PAC boot is nice. They are warm and comfortable to walk in. Not as bulky as others I've had.

I have tried several different ones. Seems anything with a good felt packs works but not in extreme cold. I no w depend on Grabber brand full length chemical heated insoles. Don't get the Hothand brand. They rare too small.

In the times when hip boots were not insulated I wore electric socks they worked well but ate 2 D batteries in three hours.
