Trophy Taker Shuttle T Lock Black Ops

Postby timberghost51 » 03 14, 2013 •  [Post 1]

New to this forum and this seems like a great forum for western hunting. I am looking for some real reviews on these. I heard the older style were pretty dull but I heard that they have fixed that with the black ops. any pictures or testimonials on these would be greatly appreciated. also should I go with 100g or 125g...I shoot a vector 32 29/71 with Easton FMJ 340 at 27.5" blazer vanes with wraps....thanks fellas

I switched to these this last year and was very very pleased. After dealing with Montecs and Hellrazors the last few years they seem amazingly sharp. My deer went 20 yards and they did everything I could ask plus I like that you can get replacement blades, which I now have in my inventory so I don't have to worry if I damage a blade or don't get time to resharpen.

Awesome heads. Indestructible! I still sharpen them as I like mine razor sharp and I wouldn't say they come real sharp. IMO they stand together with about 2-3 as one of the best BH's available

Is there any flight difference between the 100g and the 125g

I like the extra FOC of the 125's, makes for a lil more stability/forgiveness. Read the thread on BH weight, plenty good input. Good luck! I don't think you'll ever switch from the 125's once you've launched some bombs with 'em.

Alright thanks for the input..I think I will go with the 125's I did a bit of research on them and they seem to be a great head with great penetration and I heard they are leaving some awesome SHORT blood trails

I'd personally choose the Exodus is over the black ops I do like both of these heads they both fly true for me but I do believe you Exodus is much sharper and easier to sharpen in very tough
