Shooting a G5 Quest Primal Gfade

Even though I can get these for dealer cost, I actually ended up getting this one in the bargain cave at cabelas.

I had already set a few of them up for customers and LOVED them, but couldn't afford one even at my cost. One day walking around the bargain cave I found this one in there for considerablly less than it should be.

I looked it over real well and only found one problem. They had two different size draw modules on it, so someone must have returned it. I needed a different size module anyway so I bought it and picked up my draw modules.

Set it up with a 5 pin Truglo superslam sight, QAD LD rest, 7" SIMS windjamer stabilizer with side weight and tuned it all up.
Shoots great, but I will be honest.... I miss my Hoyt Ultratecs that I sold when I got this. I had 3 ultratecs from different years and killed a ton of animals with them all. I just had confidence like no other bow with them. I've only killed a couple deer with this new bow, so it's still new to me in a sense. It's not like an "old friend" yet.

Shooting it.

Here's one that is an old friend (if the picture loads up)! It's a Mathews LX I have had for nine years now. I put a STS on it. Also, Black Gold Flash Point sight and a Ripcord Code Red rest. This old friend has dumped several elk as well as hogs, mule deer, and antelope.

Let Me See Your Bow

Here's my baby. I got a $40 wedding band from Amazon instead of something nice so I could use the difference to put toward a nice recurve for my wedding gift. Got a Black Widow PSA V and a Kanati quiver.

How far was that group Glenn? nice looking bow!

I'm changing bows, so I don't have a picture to share. But you can google Bowtech Experience or Bowtech Insanity CPXL.... it will be one of them soon!
