Stone Glacier

Postby ctdad » 03 24, 2013 •  [Post 1]

I recently purchased a Stone Glacier Terminus and wanted to share with all of you how happy I am with this pack. First of all, the pack is made by Kurt Racicot and he is a pleasure to deal with. The pack is extremely adjustable. My hunting partner has a 21 inch torso and a very "bendy" back and this pack works great for him with the lumbar pad. I have a very straight back and a 17 inch torso and without the lumbar pad, this pack is great for me. The shoulder straps can be moved up and down to adjust for torso length and the waist belt can be moved up and down as well.

I've been taking this pack on weighted hikes with 40-95 lbs total weight and it can haul a load. It is comfortable and sturdy. It has a 6k ci bag, but that bag collapses down to almost nothing so I plan to use it as a daypack as well.

I have the solo. With 2 external pockets (650cuin each ) I can fit everything for a 10 day hunt in there. I love it and it hauls weight like a dream.

I would trade my longhunter for the chance to try one out.
