No insulation, but good boots.

Are you looking at these boots on REI?

If so, just go try them on at Jax in North Fort Collins or Loveland. I believe they have them. If not, they have a ton of other ones to try on.

no, i found a pair very lightly used for alot cheaper, but they are wide and i normally wear the regular. just trying to figure out if a wide would work.

Gotcha.

Buying hunting shoes sight unseen is one of the most challenging things to do.

Good luck.

I just ordered a pair of these and received them last week. I would say I have an average width foot and also wondered about ordering the wide due to the reviews about them running narrow. I ordered the regular width and they fit me great. I typically wear regular width boots and I would say these are a touch more narrow, but not so much so that I would go to the wide boot.

If you wear a reg don't get the wide! Checkout Sierra Trading Post for the best deal new, don't forget to use the daily coupon listed on their website. I love mine.

I had a pair of these from STP a few years ago, but I got a bit of heel lift in them and wasn't sure that would go away after they broke in so I sent them back. They're very well built boots for the money.
