Springfield XD .45 ACP 13 round clip so I can miss some and still hit the target. Love it & I'm no handgun guy.

I have a 357 Mag. S.A. revolver, but rarely take it into the field.

Thanks guys! I'll be packing my Glock 40 this year. At first, thought it might be a little lead heavy but it sounds like everyone packs for grizz.

A Glock 40 SW is a great gun. But for grizz???? You gotta be kidding! Try something like 12 gauge slugs if that is why you pack.

I do pack a Glock 27 but sure not for any bear.

Better off with bear spray as your first defense, use the Glock for yourself cause it'll just make ole hairy mad.

In my circle, pack'n for grizz means a larger caliber round. I'm not hunting in grizzly country! I guess us Oregonian boys only use that saying!

I dont just pack heat for bears it's for the two legged animals. I have been a part of some rather contensious meeting with people in the wilderness areas I hunt. An armed society is a polite society.

"The Judge", .45 LC. It looks heavy, but even loaded it weighs less than my Kimber 1911 fully loaded. If I can't accomplish what I need to with 5 .45 LC's, I deserve what I've got coming...
