Irish Setter Havocs

Postby snake » 05 13, 2013 •  [Post 1]

Anybody on here used the Irish Setter Havocs? I am really considering getting these for my elk hunt since my speed freaks ended up being leaky.

My father in law has them, and he loves them, but he only uses them for whitetail hunting in KS, not exactly trecherous terrain... He's trying to talk me into getting them for my hunt this fall. I am glad you posted the comment abot the Speed freeks leaking, cause I was leaning towards them. (I really liked how lightweight they were, but wondered about durability, etc...)

I loved my speed freaks at first, but there is no way that I want to deal with cold wet feet while elk hunting. I have read good reviews on the havocs, but I just like to hear first hand how they are.
