Broadhead Alignment Tip

Postby TurkeyBowMaster » 08 05, 2016 •  [Post 1]

Most heads and inserts have enough play and lack an alignment mechanism. Whevever they tighten determines how much wobble they have. To help with this I started putting bowstring wax on the broadhead threads and shank. During rotation of tightening, the wax creates equall force on all sides and makes the head center itself. Helps the head stay tight too.

I have also considered using JBWeld to create a one piece unit for more durability and might yet try that.
