Bow Setup and Tuning Instructional VIDs

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 01 04, 2017 •  [Post 1]

Unless we do this stuff all the time (I know I don't), we find ourselves digging around for some instructional videos on how to set up and tune our bows from time to time, right? Yep, it's fine and dandy to have a bow set up at a pro shop "but", its also beneficial for us archery hunters to have some bow set up/tuning knowledge in our tool kit, yes? After ordering my new Darton Maverick 2, I did some You Tube digging and came across Mark Huelsing's (soleadventure.com) A-Z set up/tuning videos. I found his VIDs easy to follow (going even slow enough for a "seasoned" hunter like me to follow), clear, and concise. So, presented for your information and use, here are Mark's bow set up and tuning VIDs. I've actually asked Mr. Huelsing if he'd like to swing by and join our elk hunting campfire; who knows, perhaps he'll stop in and pull up a log by the fire ;) .

Very informative. Didn't get a chance to view them all yet, but like them.

Any chance you could pin this to the top to make it easier to find in the future?

Thanks!

I hate being dependant upon the pro shop, especially when it is a 4 hour drive to get there.

It is going to take me some time to really digest this information, but I really need to learn this stuff myself.

Some nice vids. Not to hijack your post but if you go to Bowtuningtips.com and click on (videos), you will find probably over a hundred videos on bow tuning and how to videos. Kenny Parsons really knows his stuff. Check it out.
