Our Super Cool, Super Awesome... First Bow!

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 07 10, 2017 •  [Post 1]

Plagiarizing a thread from over on Hunt WA. What was your very first bow? Mine was a Darton SL-50 way back around 1978ish.....This is a pic I found on the net... of course mine didn't have a D Loop (weren't in existence then), and, it came in black only so I had to do my due diligence with a few colors of spray paint and some foliage to get the camo just right :D . What was your first bow?

Bear Magnum Hunter. 30 inch draw length, bought it when I was 14, was likely about 4 inches too long!! Though, at 35% let off it was basically like a "Genesis."

Bear BlackBear that I got in the combo pack at GI Joes.

And my second bow was Martin's Ted Nugent Gonzo Safari, with Megacams. I worked all summer for that thing.

Jennings buckmaster, I bought it new at GI Joe's, it must have been 1999 when I bought it.
