I just made me a backpacking rifle. It is a 22lr. I bought a Savage Rascal and cut off the stock. Then I built a stock out of carbon arrow shafts that I had laying around.

It is very accurate and light. 2#11 oz and folds to 24". The stock is held on with shock cord. The foam on the stock is pipe insulation.
