thanks fellas, I saw some pics online of some of the long bows the guy used to make - very nice! I've been thinking of getting a long bow for a while but still just window shopping. Guess I'll go look in other windows ;)

If you're shopping for TRAD gear, you may want to swing by Schafer and check them out. Arguably one of the best out there.....

Ya not sure if he still makes them? He made me one that's in this photo, it's a 61" 59# @ 27" draw. The Sapphire Hawk! Sweet & fast Longbow! It's a 3 piece take-down, I might sell it if interested?
