Acc vs fmj

Postby commando » 08 28, 2018 •  [Post 1]

I’m currently shooting the fmj arrows but thinking of switching to acc Superlite. At the end of the season I was planning on switching up to a 300 spine fmj and got curious to switching to the acc. I like the fmj but feel like they are a touch fragile. I’ve read nothing but good things about the acc . I’d like to stick to a 500 grain or more arrow.should I make the switch or stick with the fmj? Thoughts?

I’m shooting the 5mm FMJ now, used to shoot the ACC for 3D. I prefer the FMJ for hunting and easy removal from a target. I personally think the FMJ is a tougher shaft, but no proof other than opinion. They’ll both take a bend and shatter it you hit a rock or tree. Take your pick and be happy with it.
If you have to use a outsert in the ACC, I’d stear clear. Not a fan.

If it ain't broke don't fix it but you never know until you try :D

I tried a bunch of shafts and I like old school aluminum.
