Be safe and aware of your surroundings!

Postby lamrith » 09 27, 2016 •  [Post 1]

Just wanted to drop a note to all and remind everyone to be safe. We are not the only, nor the biggest predators out in the elk woods. This video was just shown on a local WA hunting site. It was taken this year here in WA. (Time on cam is obviously wrong)

There are also reports and pictures going around of a NW hunter that was Mauled by a Grizz Sow. I did not catch what state/area he was hunting, but all bears are a danger when cubs are involved.

I dont think adult men have much to worry about big cats or even wolves.

I got an extra chill last week when we found out the grizzle we saw two weeks ago was the largest grizzle ever record in the lower 48. I need to to get ahold of the trapper and see what that big boys weight was!

WOW!! That was a cool video!

I think your point is well made there are many dangers from big cats, wolves, bear, and other simple things like slipping or stepping in the wrong place etc.
