Tags in your pack this year?

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 08 02, 2019 •  [Post 1]

Once I have purchased my tags, I put em in small plastic Ziplocs and they stay in the lid of my pack for the entire season. What tags do you currently have that you'll be working on filling this fall hunting season?

I have:

Idaho archery elk/deer (will grab a wolf tag when I head to the spud state)
Washington smoke pole elk, boom stick deer, and a bear tag.

Only a ML cow tag right now. Probably an OTC bull rifle tag.Since CO raised their tag fee and application fees s on every thing and now one has to by a small game license now just to apply, I passed on deer and antelope

Wyoming General elk license. Pa whitetail buck, Pa doe tags (3) one or two of which I’ll give to a youth hunter as his mentor.

WA: rifle deer, bear, cougar. I have an elk tag but probably won't hunt it. Hope to put some effort into bear later in August and Blacktail at the end of October.

ID: Deer, elk, wolf. Very excited about our prospects this season there.

As of right now I only have a deer tag for Colorado eastern plains. I will end up with some sort of elk tag but not sure what direction to go.

Gila elk, MT elk, MT deer, MT antelope, 5-6 AR deer, may snag a CO rifle elk if I get time. If I get lucky pretty quick in MT on elk I might jump over in ID and see what I can get into.

Wow surprised to see all the Idaho hunters. This will be my first year stepping foot in Idaho. Our old area of 5 years was over ran by hunters last year. I figured if Idaho was good enough for Corey Jacobsen it should be good enough for me.

Idaho archery elk/deer for my buddy and I.

Now down to: (all WA)
Modern firearm elk
Multi season deer
2nd deer (antlerless muley)
Cougar

May or may not even be on dry land for the elk season. If im lucky ill get to hunt the last few days of it, but ill be hunting an "any bull" area.

If i get lucky and fill my multi season deer tag in early sept, ill buy an idaho non resident deer tag (and wolf tag) if any are still available
