Woke up this morning

I took this pic just before I headed home from elk camp this morning out the camper door

Friday after a morning and early afternoon hunt we barely made it back to camp before the thunderstorm
I quite enjoyed a couple hour nap during the rain

We had one bull come in or was it hung up ? As we got offacalling stand
Hopefully I get a picture of my best success of the hunt
my granddaughter stalking a chipmunk with her bow
I don’t think anyone had a better weekend than she did

I was quite inspired; a 79 year old fellow stopped in camp he told us he put up a blind on the waterhole
I’m also a bit jealous of his age and abilities . were going to leave that draw alone
I also hope once he is no longer hunting years from now I’ll be the old man hunting up in that water hole
