Morels are Poppin’

Postby Indian Summer » 05 06, 2020 •  [Post 1]

Only had an hour before dark to check a spot but it paid off. Enough to go with an elk filet tomorrow. Anyone else enjoy hunting and eating morel mushrooms?

Same spot two days later. We’re about to get a cold snap this weekend which will shut it down but after that we’re in for a serious warm up so that will be prime time for us in southwest Pa.

I don't know enough about them to trust that I am not eating a poisonous mushroom. Never have done it.
