spent some time with paul yesterday

Postby bnsafe » 07 08, 2013 •  [Post 1]

I hurt my back lifting yesterday and cant hardly move, so, I put pauls videos in spent some quality time picking apart all the little things you miss and trying to put it all together. I learned a lot. last year I just had a cow tag so I basically only watched video 3 calling cows. so basically I learned yesterday
1. location bugle, aggressive cow call back to it
2. full bugle with grunts, get aggressive and go right after him
3. don't sit up behind crap.
4. although you need to know how and when to use other calls like the lost cow, squeals, etc I will be focusing on aggressive cow talk, locator bugles, and bugle with grunts.
what important info did I miss. I will be watching it daily for a few days while my back heals and im sure I will pull something new each time. then next week if I have that info down im goin to video 2 etc.
being a turkey caller and a pretty darn good one ive got cow calls down pretty good, got the scream of a bugle down, struggling with the growl a little bit. I got a growl but having a hard time putting inflection into it so it means something.
