Come on Cliff, don't tell us ya pack in a chair! Just lean back into a nice shade tree & cut it loose. Watch the bottom limb... ;) heading to the back yard. This one could be a wreck...

About 2 1/2". That might actually be the first time I've ever shot sitting flat on the ground.

haha.

i am unhappy to report that in order to get 35 yards; i have to be sitting in my back room and shoot at the target (thru the open doorway) sitting on the ladies fence line. i shut down the operation for everyone's safety. living in a city blows :)

on a bright side, i can still plunk in some broadheads into the white dot from 30, easy. right with my FT arrows.

ill take a crack at this at my bowrange.

this stuff is fun..i am in the presence of some fine shooters. sitting is my weakness..i want to try this one.

Nice shot treestanding! 8-)

I did the same thing...2 1/2 inches low and right. I have a 36" ATA so it was a little weird.

Someone needs to step up & show us how its done. I'm right there with you guys.It is tougher shot than you would think, but the kind you can expect sometime in your career. That is if you like to set down for awhile & enjoy all thats going on around you. This happened a few years ago, while waiting to scare the bejesus out of my hunting companion. I knew he would be coming down the trail at last light, & I also knew he had close encounter with a decent sized bear the day before... ;) I was only 5yds above the trail waiting on him & was so focused on the direction he would be coming from that I missed seeing a monster boar come in from the opposite direction, but on the same trail. He caught me flat azzed & facing the wrong direction for a shot. With the bear looking at me, I slowly pivoted on same end & executed a perfect quartering to shot at 6 yds. That bear was not concerned with me in the least & watched me go thru all the motions in prep for the shot.I still get a shiver when I think about the what ifs.Biggest rush I have ever experienced while hunting.Sorry to ramble but I love to tell tall tales. Here's my pic....pics! :D

Looking forward to #4.
Didn't need a measure for this one. I use paper towel in holes in target, pushed it thru hole.
Having a blast with you Elk Nuts.

Some fine shooting gentlemen. Put a new sight on my bow yesterday (long story), and, am screwing around with it a bit as I fletched up a dozen new arrows with a different offset configuration (longer story). Will do my best to get my butt shot :D up tomorrow. RJ

Cold shot #3...2" left. Not bad but what a funky position to shoot from. But a very real-life shot position for those oooops there they are shots! i messed around with this one a bit after the cold shot and found that it was hard for me to follow through on the shot. i tended to drop my bow down, stability wasnt there. so i kicked my legs out to my right and was shooting over my left side, seemed to stabilize me alot more. glad we practiced this! im ready for #4!! Great shooting guys!

Can't hang with you fellas on this one. Was buried all day today prepping my old Chevelle for a car show tomorrow. Also, I changed my bow sight out several days ago and haven't finished the fine tuning.. I know, excuses, excuses, excuses... Carry on folks! I'll try to get back in the mix on the next challenge.

I was aimed at the middle of the black circle that is partially covered by one inch tape. Sorry about the tape but I was helping a friend with walk back tuning at the same time
