Anyone else notice this?

Or is it just my computer! But almost half the post on here will have maybe just one word or two that is in bold print and underlined. When you run your mouse across the word it always brings up some sort of advertisement. Just curious if someone is hacking into the site or maybe just my computer. This all started just a couple of week ago.

Had that happen to one my 'puters at home that my kids use for a lot of games. I think it's a program that embeds, unknowingly, when downloading other programs or files. Think I got rid of it by doing a cleanup and purge of programs we didn't use or recognize. Been doing some online gaming, WW?

Sounds like you may have some spyware or malware on your machine. Might try one of the free cleaners, like Malware bytes. I don't see it here on this site, but have seen what you are talking about before.

It's embed adware on your pc. If using firefox check your add-ons.

archerytalk actually implemented a version of an embedded hotlink adware called VigLink.

Thanks Diggerson and Wapiti Bob. I checked my programs and found one called Solid Savings. I uninstalled it and everything appears to be OK now. I have no idea how it got on there. Thanks again! I never do the gaming thing.
