Yep, the bar has just been raised. I'll launch a Shuttle T at 60 yards tomorrow if I get home early enough.

OK, 60 yds. with a HellRazor. Good thing I tuned my broadheads over the weekend, I might just hit the target. :D

I think I might actually have to go to the range for this one.

well, the good thing is I hit my target at 60, which is my bottom pin. 5" left of center. That was probably human error. Arrow was an axis 400 with a 100gr slick trick.I tried a second shot with an axis 340 & 100 grn snuffer ss. That extra weight took it down 10" but was inline with the dot.I would try this shot today on an animal only if I already had an arrow in it.Several years ago, before shoulder issues & aging eyes, I killed bucks 5 consecutive years at 60.Looking back, I feel I was pretty stupid & incredibly lucky. All an animal has to do in that split second you touch the trigger is to take a step for a little greener grass & you "have a problem Houston" I'm not raggin on the guys who will take it, but say a prayer that your target holds still . ;)

I couldn't get 60...here's a video from 55 yds.

I had a humungous bowl of beans before I went out to shoot. I was going to edit it out...but I thought if you can't fart in Doc's office...then where?

I can do this no problem on my 3D lane.

Others will have to jimmy rig some type of "window" to shoot through.

Try this.......not sure if I am uploading correctly.

60 yards, slick trick 100 gr standard.....last time I shot was Tuesday last week. About about 4 inches right.....had a good breeze going so that might have been the drift.

i tried to slo-mo your video. you fletched your arrows with 4 vanes? straight or offset? that is a heck of a shot.

if you have four vanes..did it slow your arrow down alot?

Pointysticks (Cliff),

Four fletch blazers, right offset. I've shot three fletch arrows before in my Alpine and I don't think there's a significant drop in the point of impact (none that I can remember) so I'm assuming that I'm not losing much speed. I think my bow is set right around 67 lbs.

thanks. i asked my arrow guy to do this, except he talked me out of it..saying i would lose speed.

i think the added stability trumps the tiny bit of speed loss. nicely done. i might DIY this for experimental reasons. make a bow easy to tune for sure!
