Even tho the 2013 season has not yet begun, my buddy and I have a spot on an air transporter in Fairbanks AK - Sept 15 -25, 2014
for an archery Alaska moose hunt!!!

That should be a great hunt . Them Alaskan moose are some big boys.

you must be hard up for moose meat is the freeze empty? Those hunts don't come cheap that is what keeps me away. I'd love to go hunt caribou but have a hard time spending the money when I can't even kill elk in colorado.....lol

Best wishes on the moose hunt Brad. A good moose hunt is probably the one thing that I would pass an elk hunt for. One of these days I am going to go for it. Probably will go to Canada if I get the chance.

thats a whole new ballgame there. will you provide your own camp and just get dropped by the float plane?

A good friend and I are going to one of the Aleutians in late August 2014 for Barren Ground Caribou! VERY Excited.

you know i've always thought about one of those portable electric fences if I did a alaska backcountry hunt. like this

of all the things animals respect, electricity always seems to work the best. They cost a couple of hundred bucks but it might be good for sleeping.
