One of my family members took his own life two days ago. The last time my daughter was around him, he showed her a lot of tricks with his prized yo-yo. She called them magic tricks and when she said that, he gave it to her. I have not had the heart to tell her.

I pray that God blesses you and your family with even a tiny bit of peace this holiday season. My father took his own life last x-mas and it has been a tough year to say the least but the pain will fade and make room for fond memories and smiles eventually.

John, I'm horribly sorry to hear that. I had a family member do the same about 2 months ago. Lots of questions that will never be answered.

Brad, I hope for the best for whoever you are with up there. That is a scary, scary place to have to be, especially if the results are not in yet.
