selling a used bow is NOT fun.

Postby pointysticks » 01 10, 2014 •  [Post 1]

i think i just sold it.

no funds yet. lots of tire kickers. i priced my bow about $200 less than any others like it..still..out come the bargain hunters. this is a well used hunting bow. cosmetically, it could use some work..i crawled over miles and miles of forest and desert with this thing. i represented it correctly. clear pics.

i almost pulled the ad, and just gave it away to my neighbor's kid. hahah.

Archery talk is CRAZY..lots of movement. in 1 hour my ad was on the third page!!

Buying my first bow on AT was not fun. I ordered it on Christmas Eve, I just got it on Tuesday. It was missing the arrows which were promised, it was missing the extra cam that was in the ad, the box was shotty and was trashed. The guy agreed on one price, then changed it last minute.

Not a fun experience.

I can't get rid of mine either.

AT moves too fast for me.

You guys may want to try Craig's list. I've sold several used bows using their site.

I have only given away my old bows.

I have several strikes against me.

1- I am a finger shooter, so I buy bows with long ATA

2- I keep my bows and hunt with them, so they are USED. I use them at least 10 years. There isn't a market for 10 year old compound bows.

I purchased my last bow from AT. Bow was 2 years old and I paid 60% of new bow. All went well and I love the bow.
