from cancun, never saw a single elk there. lots of cougars, but no elk

Hey Scott, it is obvious why you never saw any elk down there. There are just too many cougars stalking the area. The elk don't have a chance. :D

I tried a location bugle, once, but my wife thought I should prob spot an stalk instead. im not good at that so I set up over a couple of watering holes. no elk there for sure, cougars were everywhere.
on a serious note, I enjoy going but enjoy coming home more. I am sooooo thankful, even with as screwed up as this country is right now, to be born an living in the good ol usa. I havnt looked at the mnts yet cause it was dark when we got home. but nothing beats them. moving to Colorado was one of the best moves I have ever made. I may move again someday, but not for awhile.
