A little off-topic, but such was the discussion in Copenhagen recently. Looks like they at least started with the gutless method, by the video.

Well, it is a bit too bad that another home couldn't be found for him, but then something else would've had to feed the lions, of course. Lions are lions.

bummer they couldnt rehome it. i'd love to hear how his genes were "too common". what are we losing in translation?

A very cost effective solution for a Zoo IMHO!

The no common sense populace is appalled I'm sure. If the World economy continues to crumble...similar solutions will be commonplace.

I don't see a problem with this. Life and death is a real thing. We would be better off if more people understood this.
