Elk Its Whats For Dinner

[Triplebhunters]

Two pkg of elk rump steak
Run through cuber
Bread with flour salt and pepper
Dip in milk and egg dip
Bread again
Tip, pack firmly in flour.

Brown till crispy.

Put in a baking pan
Cover with gravy
Tip, add alittle oil and cracklings from browning to gravy
Bake at 300 deg for about an hour

Have a toast with ElkNuts while cooking

Gravy,
Two cans beef broth
Two cans mushroom soup
Make a nice thick gravy

Enjoy with mashed potatoes and creamed peas!

sounds pretty darn good.

the Siberian expressed rolled through TX today. it was87 yesterday and today at 2pm it was 18F and the wind is going to blow us out I think.
so we made up some elk chili to warm our old bones while I am propped up by the fireplace.
