Anyone suffer from asthma?

Postby pointysticks » 05 17, 2014 •  [Post 1]

I had no idea. I would get itchy lungs and cough at night. Worse if I exercised. I have an inhaler now. I sleep better for sure. It doesn't seem to affect my exercise that much. Okay maybe my lungs burn on regular exertion.

Anyone else? This is a new thing for me. You pack an inhaler on pack trips?

I do, but it's very mild. I've been told by a few doctors that I should have an inhaler, but I have been an all-season athlete my entire life and it's never kept me out of the game. What's funny is that at elevation, hustling up to a ridge . . . I actually feel limited by it. Not during soccer or lacrosse . . . but mounting activities, oh yes.
