My brother was just offered a job with UPS. He lives in PA and hauls coal for a power plant, loves to hunt , and the west. He would be driving the big trucks not local delivery. What say ya! Thanks

For starters being a Wyoming resident is a huge step in the right direction. Casper is a great location. The Bighorns aren't too far. Great mulie and antelope hunting and elk not too far. Nice folks there too. Laramie and Cheyenne to the south, Montana just to the north, Sturgis to the east, and serious mountains west. If he doesn't have anything holding him down I say jump on it!

I think I'd be moving to Casper. It is going to be quite a culture shock going form Pennsylvania to Casper, WY.

What does he like to hunt?

That's an understatement 8-)

Just realize that "not too far" by western state mentality that Indian Summer has developed  :P might mean 2 or 3 hours.

Exactly. To an elk hunter what is far? It's 4 hours from Denver to the San Juan. Just think of how much he will save in gas money, license money.... and time. Jackson is all the way on the other side of Wyoming and that's only 5 hours. Lots in between too. But Casper doesn't have as nasty of a winter. Heck of a home base!!!
