Being as how I'm about to leave for Alaska for a few weeks, today was my last day to hunt bear until late October, so pretty much my last chance to get a bear for the year. Rainy nasty day, I figured what the hell, ill go park my truck where I can watch a big draw where I have seen lots of animals moving in the past. Sure enough after a half an hour I saw a small chocolate sow moving around. Laid prone with my backpack for a rest I made the 350 yard shot with the ole lever gun. When I walked up to her she got even smaller, but with only another hour or so to get a bear this year I dont mind. She will make a couple nice meals. Probably be lucky if she weighed 100 lbs soaking wet.

Tomorrow sure. Just got done disassembling her. Man a yote is going nuts outside my shop. He must smell blood. If I had somebody to hold my spotlight on him.....

okay, so i was only able to get this one phone pic onto imgur, so its the only one i was able to get onto my computer. i have pre-skinned pics on my phone just cant get em on here for some reason. here is the worlds smallest bear skinned out. man after screwing up that 10 yard shot on that bull a few weeks ago i really wanted to fill my bear tag! had 1.5 hours left to hunt bear this year when i pulled the trigger.

Whitey man that isn't a bear. You can tell by the tusks it's a walrus for sure.

oh just going up there for work for a few weeks. going up to cook inlet. didnt ask what we are doing up there but if i had to guess id say were heading up to move an oil rig

damn job cancelled, after driving 6 hours!! they have another job lined up for me wednesday, but now im stuck on the heathen west side of washington for two days. not good for my psychological well being. too many prius drivers and bicyclists around, guess ill just have tro do some heavy drinking for a day or two until i can get out of here and head to alaska
