Paul he just did 6 shows in a row here in Pittsburgh. SIX! 2 Thursday, 2 Friday, and 2 Saturday. I bet those guys need a break.... to count their money. I wish I even owned the parking garage at $22 a rig.

Yep!! $20 to park in a lot and $13 for a 25oz can of Bud Light!! In the summer of 1990 I saw him and Trisha play at the Crawford county fair. I think we payed around $10 for a ticket!!

The following is a true story. But I'll tell it anyway..
In the late 80's or early 90's, the Colorado State Fair booked Garth Brooks on one of their free stages for a 2 year stint. Something like 2 shows a day for 3-4 days each year. During the summer of the first year, Garth started to hit the big time nationally and the first year's concerts were jam packed. No one could believe they were seeing Garth Brooks for free.
Between the first year and second year Garth rocketed to the top in popularity and everyone figured-"so long to the second year of free concerts." Garth honored it all and people were treated to a series of free concerts to one of the biggest names in music that year. It was/is pretty incredible when you think about it.

And it was at a state fair so during the concert you could enjoy a funnel cake and a giant turkey leg and wash it all down with a $12 beer.... :)
