What are you doing for your sweety

Postby Fridaythe13th » 02 13, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Just wondering what people are doing with there spouses or significant others on Valentine's day?
We are going to play Ice horseshoes on a lake. We drill holes in the ice, put stakes in, clear the snow and have a tournament. The bad part is only a high of 5 and windy, might take some of the fun out of it. I well have to pack a extra bottle of blackberry brandy to stay warm.

I was gonna order custom candy from Sherries Berries. But when they asked the name of my loved one and I said Phantom the guy hung up on me. I guess it's the thought that counts.

Well I was planning a 3 day weekend at a ski resort up in NY, but we have a sick dog on our hands. So its 3 dozen roses, a funny neck less and a nice dinner at the casino. Id much rather be skiing but the dogs needs come before that.

Asked the boss what she would like to do tomorrow and she said "how about a grilled steak and some steamed crab or lobster at home"... win win right there :D

Sent the wife and daughter to Florida to visit her parents for a week. Since we are getting a polar blast here in PA she was thrilled.

We did a found raiser dinner/dance for friend that lost their son to cancer and are now busy helping do whatever they can for others in the same boat. We made out pretty good in the raffle. We won some of the camo truck decals and dinner at a local restaurant. To top it off a lifetime membership at frontsight that includes tons of gun classes on any gun you can imagine any time for a lifetime. Only problem is we are in North Idaho and frontsight is in Vegas. So even though it is an amazing prize we are probably going to give to a very deserving family member that lives there. Besides what's a bow guy going to do with a bunch of glock training? I hunt in grizzly country and rarely if ever carry a side arm.
