My wife, two daughters and I put in for Idaho moose. 0-4, two years in a row :cry: :cry:

How does it work in Idaho? Do you need preference points? Or is it just a tough draw. Here in Minnesota if you draw a moose tag it's the last one you well get and it almost impossible to get a tag. The report came out that the moose population was down 60% scene 2006. They blame it on a tick and brain worm but most people think it the wolf population is to high.

Moose is a once in a life-time hunt draw.
No preference points. Straight draw.
The state tried to go to a preference point system. Unfortunately there was a lot of negative input from those that don't like the idea of preference points.
With preference points I would likely draw in five years. Without ,.. I have as great of chance of being dead before I draw.
