Postby WapitiTalk1 » 12 17, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Let's see em. I'll start :) This is Gus, 2 1/2ish old male yellow lab. He's a bit more than 4 months through the healing process of dual rear knee replacement and doing well.

look the right
She is fourteen years 4 months. She has retrieved well over 1000 geese. Loves boat, ATV, and truck rides. She barks when any animal is on a road in front of us, kind of a bad deal driving though a pasture full of cows, her eyesight is still incredible, she can Id a coyote at 600 yards . A great family dog.
Hope to have more geese and two daughters in the pic Saturday ;)

Ajax our family pet and blood tracking dog extraordinaire. This is a picture of her first "find". Good thing the gobbler didn't go very far. We started her blood trailing deer a month ago and she has found 2 of them so far. The second deer may have gone unfound if it wasn't for her.

Wow lefty, thats an OLD lab! And still functioning at that

She hunted today and yesterday, followed or lead the ATV to the pit blind and back to the truck.
She did nap all afternoon.

She does have a tough time jumping on the ATV , but still busts out of the pit on command, She is nearly deaf but her eyesight and nose still work well

My sons story

We were on the last stretch of our hunt when Ajax and my dad jumped a rabbit. I spotted it and yelled rabbit! Then I lost sight of it. I kept walking and looking into the brush. I finally saw it looking away from me under a tree. I took the safety off - shot it - it rolled over and was DRT (dead right there).
