The Shasta

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 02 15, 2016 •  [Post 1]

Well, lil Dot the Shasta Compact is almost back to life. Almost a complete rebuild on the little gal (13 feet from head to toe). Was gonna sell her but Mrs P likes it and we may end up using her for summer camping. Hmm, how am I gonna fit us, three mouse dogs, and a lab ;0.

Nice!!!
We bought my dad a 19 footer,.. a 72 without wings.
I wish my wife and I could find a small trailer for what were willing to pay.

When I was hot and heavy into looking for old vintage trailers, I looked on Craig's List quite a bit. I actually located quite a few of them in Idaho for some reason. Most of them are over priced for what they are (complete restorations) but there are a few that pop up that are worth digging a bit deeper. There is a very good site on the "how to fix em up/restore" I used extensively when I worked on Dot over the past year. It's called Vintage Trailer Talk. Nice folks and exceptional source of information.
