Some young fellow had just created a shooting gallery in what had been his toy store.
The second most fun thing we did while in Jackson. My wife and I shared the 100 shots, We had the highest score since he opened( on Saturday).
Our laughter brought in a couple other mothers and kids,.. anyway it was just stupid fun
The young fellow spent $250,000 to make the gallery

Awesome photos. Sounds like a great time. Can you post contact information for the hotel and sleigh ride. Flights are pretty cheap right now. I think this would be an awesome weekend trip.

I love Jackson. The steel elk pieces below the clock in my profile pic is a souvenir from my first trip to there. Pics don't do it justice but every time I look at it I think of Jackson Hole Wyoming. That was a long time ago and I'm really glad to have a friend or two who lives there now.

Every where you drive, every direction you look is a postcard view and I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't want to live there. The elk arches are cool. Anyone who lives or visits there has some sense of adventure and love for the outdoors which is cool for sure. Great hunting and fishing all over the place and Yellowstone just up the street. Most places you hunt offer a view of the Tetons which never gets old. Heaven on earth and if I had to pick a place to move and live that area would be it for sure.

I will agree people live the outdoor life
The Idaho side is quite wonderfull too, that use to be a secret.
A fiends great-great grandfather homesteaded the Jackson area , Pre-development taxes forced great-grand dad to sell and move. the man never retired, he ran 500 head until he was 91, He had out lived most of his friends, couldn't even afford to stay the last years in the valley to die.

I hear that. Jackson is a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live right there. I wouldn't want to live in any city or town. I like the area around Alpine. The Wind River Range is beautiful too.

My father in law always wanted my wife and I to move to Star Valley, At one time I dreamed of living in Star Valley too,.. 5 years ago this part of Idaho, education looked bleak.
I found 40 acres near Smoot. $80,000 only about 4 was build able,1/4 mile of the upper Salt River The only reason we dont live there was my daughters at too much Pocatello Idahoans.

We use to hunt early geese, and a close friends great grandfather was Thayne.

Three of my dogs pups went to Star Valley

Were taking the Scouts to the Wind range this summer
