An unusual find today

Not every day that you find a bear skull in the woods.

I assume they die too, but in all of my years in the forest, I don't remember finding a skeleton or any part from a bear. I have found cows, deer and elk and smaller animals, but no bear.

Same here have never found a bear, mountain lion or Sasquatch skeleton, or any part of remains. I wonder if many of them find caves to die in or the nastiest stuff they can.

Forgot all about it, but probably 8 years ago i found a lion skull on the bank of the stanislaus river in california. It was pretty beat up though.

I have only found 2 in Oregon, lots in Alaska though. I always take the canines

I found a wolf skull last year. It was in an area that wolves seem to be using to sun themselves. There was wolf droppings all around where the skull was laying. I assume this particular wolf got to die in peace laying in the sun. I'll try and remember to snap a picture of it when I get home tonight as it now resides in my living room.
