We are going to wake up to the eclipse watchers invading our hunting area. This follows the 13,000 strong Rainbow Family gathering in the area. Maybe John Prine can write a song about a Total Eclipse of the Fun, for us bow hunters. :D

Walked in and left an sd card in the pickup.
Last evening as I was driving in to glass a calf was standing on the trail. I counted 11 calves and 10 cows before the disappeared in the quakies. One calf had something wrong maybe crippled back legs, and stuggled to get into the trees. Soon to be coyote lunch.

My ole dog did good.

Ran into some surveyors. I mentioned I had never seen a camp where they were parked. There response was the rancher , and sheep man stoped and said the same thing.
The bad news: The mining company with claims nearby is putting a lot of money into the area. Their existing mine they closed access, and have really torn up the mountainside. The wrse part when they start mining better roads will be built, giving people more access to the area.
Lots of sheep
