I have always thought it's odd that over half of the lion pics I get are during daylight, and often in the heat of the day.

Probably going for water in the heat. But ive noticed that in the summer i get way more daylight pics than in the winter. Winter is mostly at night. Pretty simple explanation i think, more hours of daylight in the summer. In the winter they can move mostly at night and still get plenty of hunting done, cause its dark all the time. If they confined their movement to darkness in the summer, they wouldnt have much time at all to hunt. But yeah, they do move around in broad daylight a lot more than people think. This cam is a few miles from the road, so pretty much no human activity there, but even in more human populated areas they move around a lot in the daytime. Get them on camera here at my house during daylight hours all the time.

Tweedy knows when a cat is slipping around and up to no good. I wonder if Tweedy was still around watching to see Sylvester on the prowl?
