I spent most of my evening in Church. No ghosts except the Holy Spirit.

Gave candy to about 20 kids, not many trick/treaters or families giving candy on my block. Then I polished off a few little Butterfingers that were left.

We were part of a neighborhood potluck dinner, family party, the trunk or treat.
My wife headed home. I stayed and helped chaperon the youth party.
Not the kind of Halloween I grew up with.

While my wife was home a friend's 11 year old son with 6 girls (all taller than him) sang some fun Halloween songs. My wife gave them full sized candy bars.
20 minutes later they came back and sang again, and gave my wife little treats.
Those kids really made her night.
They were also the only trick or treaters this year.

Our church congregation (ward) sponcered some of supplies and the youth party.
The neighbors barn was converted to a party barn and dance hall 60 years ago, a very wild place at the time.
The neighbors bought the homestead and have used it for tamed down parties , church youth socials and their archery range.
