Sandbagger

Postby Kessler10 » 04 24, 2018 •  [Post 1]

I guess that is what I am now.

This year I had added sandbag training to my workouts. A fun change up and seems like it correlates well with training for back country.

When I was still in the Army, I used to have one Non Comm in my platoon that "loved" to give sand bag PT. After stretching, warming up, he'd have all the Soldiers pick up a sand bag and you would not put it down for the entire PT session (normally around 45 minutes). You'd do sit ups with the sandbag, pushups with the bag on your bag, back to back sand bag exchange drills, bicep curls, over your back presses, etc.... it was brutal but was a great workout! I certainly couldn't do that now :? How do you work out with your sandbag in your workouts?
