Peanut did it; it's common knowledge criminals return to the scene of the crime.

Damn Texans!

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 05 12, 2018 •  [Post 1]

Daughter and SIL are up visiting from the Lone Star State and they brought their two pups with them. I stayed at the place today while wifey and the two kids went out to Enumclaw to an antique place, lunch in Orting, then on to Sumner for some more shopping. Well, "somebody" has been digging for moles (not gold) in my yard. Don't get me wrong, I hate moles in my yard as bad as the next fella but yard/paw excavation is not really addressing the issue in a positive way. At any rate, after filling in a few mining operation trenches early this morning, I went out in the yard a few minutes ago to see Peanut laying on top of the crime scene. So, did he do this heinous crime? Was it just an awkward coincidence that he was laying there while playing with a tennis ball? What do you read in his face?..... I think he's covering something up.

I questioned his sidekick from Texas, Hurley. He's not talking. While I wait for the family to get home, I'll corner all the other four paw suspects under a hot light and see if they know anything..........

They have a wonderful way of forecasting the weather in Enumclaw. If you can see Mt. Rainer it is going to rain. If you can't see the mountain, it is raining. Very simple.

I offer exhibit 3, a photo taken yesterday afternoon after yet another smaller yard excavation. If you zoom in on Peanut's nose...... well, you can see something that looks a lot like dirt. All circumstantial evidence at this point I know but evidence none the less and it is mounting... None of the other pack have cracked under interrogation.. they all seem to know nothing.
