Well, the wife is out of town today. But RJ came through with a care package!

Looks like I know what's for dinner! Thanks RJ!

Aaaannnd.... after initial testing, I'm impressed! It started out tasting fantastic, but I was plodding through it a bit at the end. That
may just be a byproduct of being quickly satiated. The meal is dense! Overall, I'd take it over mountain house just because I like the
ingredient list.

I love that it isn't extremely salty. I didn't feel like my arteries were hardening up by the end of it, anyways. I don't see any ingredients
that I wouldn't be able to find in a grocery store, and the only thing that is missing is some meat. Of course, the manly solution to that
problem is to just shoot a wabbit or a grouse to add to the bag, and you're good to go!

Oh, one last thing... I have a pretty messed up digestive tract so I'll be able to report back on the worst case gastrointestinal effects
in a few hours.

I didn't have any strange distress of the guts overnight, so I think I can give them full marks, flying colors, A+, etc. All you elk hunters should try them!

i'll try them!

i'll never eat one within sight of any real food tho. sure as hell not at my kitchen counter. :)

i always just punt; take one with me on a hike and choke it down no matter what. like they say, hunger is the best spice. i'll test there.
