What I Have Learned

Postby Swede » 02 25, 2019 •  [Post 1]

Besides observing things we normally do not see when hiking around, there are some other opportunities I have taken advantage of. I sure have gotten more proficient with my camera, GPS and cell phone as I sat watching for an elk. I have to turn of off the sound (mute) first, then mostly experiment.
The other day we replaced my wife's cell phone. It came with almost no instructions. She was struggling to figure it out and asked for some help. After watching me awhile; she said "you are just guessing the same as I was." I said "ya". That is how I do most of my learning, especially if directions are not included. I think she thought I had some God given gift for figuring out how to use these new electronic toys. I fooled her again.
Anyway what have some of you tree stand or ground blind hunters discovered while waiting for a critter to come around?

Fooling your wife definitely has its perils.
