Dang Nice Bitterroot Shed

Postby Indian Summer » 04 28, 2016 •  [Post 1]

Not long ago I posted a pic of this bull from the Root. My friend Paul who owns Indian Summer Outfitters now took the pic. This bull goes 365.

Last weekend they found this shed in a spot where sheds come as no surprise. I just got the picture and haven't really thought about what the bull might score. The top end potential has been on the rise for awhile now there. If anyone is interested in a drop camp, semi-guided, or guided hunt let me know.

The master of the tease...lol

If we had opted for a guided hunt I would have been all over anything you have suggested, Joe. Thanks for all the info that you have shared with me as I begin this journey. (Doing my best to give you a plug...:)

They tease me so turn about is fair play. The past several years there have been some monsters around. Big sixes and a few 7 pointers. I know the area soooo well that it's tempting to give it a try but to get a shot opportunity at the biggest bulls in any area is never easy. As we can see this bull is still alive. hmmmm

Try one of my DIY plans Baldy! I have them all over the Bitterroots. Just sold one for 2017 as a matter of fact.

I'm tempted. Real tempted.

2018 may be my next shot after this year. My buddy has said he wants to maybe go after some pronghorn so there is that. PM me a quote for 4 guys in archery and rifle. If you can include license fees so I can have an idea what to pass along to guys. I know you did that for me once but I don't remember how many guys I told you back then.
