@IndianSummer knows the Cowboy state ins and outs. Hopefully, he’ll chime in.

You can access 92 and 94 from the west via the Greys River Road. The road is gravel but well maintained and plenty wide enough to tow a camper on. No grizzlies at all there.

I know nothing about 67 other than the fact that it is definitely grizzlie infested! For sure!

Wife and I will be out there around the 11th in the camper. Somewhere around Alpine if you need anything.

I am hunting south of Alpine as well. Have heard from some ranchers that they have been having grizzly trouble in this area for the first time this summer.

There are a few grizzlies that wander and weave beyond the general range
I hear of valid reports every direction except east

I chuckled each time I’ve read Indian summers responses about the river road
Some fond memories
We had scouts camped for a week in the area and I believe
every ranchers aluminum trailers rattled as they brought in cows all night and morning on that washboard road
Pretty country
A buddies family ran cows in that country: an extra saddle blanket on his horse with a fly rod and he would disappear nearly a week at a time as a young teen
He even missed the first days of school because he”forgot” school was starting
My wife and I are headed up on the Idaho side tomorrow . I should find out some on the grizzle thing
The past two years I’ve hiked the winds and saw plenty of grizzly elk kills (4)
However problem bears tend to “disappear”

I suppose Bigfoot could actually be out there somewhere and grizzlies can cover some ground. But I have friends in Alpine and know guys who have logged lots of days guiding from just north of there to far south and they laugh when people say there are grizzlies down there.

Oh um wait.... yes, it’s grizzly infested. Mean ones that are starving too. A hunter is probably better off up near Yellowstone. I’ve heard from a few organizations that the bears up there are friendly.
